I have extensive experience as a consultant delivering CFO services, as well as an in-house CFO. At Aavid Thermal Technologies, I was CFO as we took the company from near bankruptcy to profitability and a successful IPO in 1996. In my four-year tenure, the market value of the company went from near zero to $350 million. In the course of working with organizations in agriculture, high technology, manufacturing, and financial services as a financial executive, I have led or participated in the following:

  • Transformation of a private $37 million company in financial trouble into a publicly traded, financially healthy, $100+ million international company
  • Turnaround of an $18 million company from near bankruptcy to profitability and financial health
  • Raised $22 million in new equity in an initial public offering (IPO)
  • Completed a $26 million recapitalization of a company
  • Raised $5 million in first round venture capital for a company
  • Acquisition of a $25 million company
  • Sale of a $20 million company
  • Acquisition of a $5 million division of a major corporation

I joined the Florida CFO Group in 2011. Prior to joining the Florida CFO group, I had my own consulting firm since 1997 and have over thirty years of experience in accounting and finance in an executive leadership capacity. I earned a BA in accounting and an MBA in marketing at the University of South Florida.
